Pebble Activities for 2016-2017 had a lot of exciting things happening. If anybody followed us on Facebook or Instagram you know what we went through getting the “69 Lamborghini ready in time. Our 1969 Lamborghini Islero S and 1972 Jarama Dual sunroof car we finished just days before, we barely had time to test drive and finish sorting the mechanics. But in the final hours everything came into place, we loaded our cars and were off to Monterrey. Both Lamborghinis were expertly prepped and were on display for the 15th annual Quail Motor Sports Gathering in Carmel, Ca and shown in a lush setting on a golf course nestled against the Santa Lucia mountain range.
We attended the McCall’s Motor Works Revival on Thursday night to start the Monterey Experience. Located at the Monterrey Jet Center and in its 27th year and is the kickoff event for Carweek. This is an exclusive event that entertains more than 3000 guests amongst private jets, vintage cars, and gourmet food.
Further adding to the excitement of Carweek Auction, Auctions and Auctions. This year was quite exciting although we had no cars in the sales we made our presence known with some very active bidding at Gooding and Company, RM Sotheby’s and did purchase a 1978 Land Rover SIII from the Worldwide group Auction event in Pacific Grove, Ca.

Our week ended on Sunday with a walk around the 18th fairway and viewing all the gorgeous cars of the 68th annual Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance. This year brought out a grand display of amazing cars including pre and post war European Open and Closed examples, Ferrari Grand Touring cars and Millie Miglia winners, and Also featured American Dream cars, Its preservation cars are always a delight and the Best of Show was awarded to a 1907 Renault AI Vanderbilt Racer.
