The San Marino Concours is continuously growing and adding new cars and new themes every year. I have been attending this show since its inception when it was held in a park Baseball Diamond hiding somewhere in San Marino, Ca. I don't even remember where now but the show was an instant hit. As I recall the baseball diamond had no shade or surroundings, it was so hot and so miserable I can't believe the car's tires didn't melt. It was fantastic show never the less and Aaron gathered some very fine automobiles. That year I had shown a 1931 Bentley 4 ¼, the next year the show moved to Lacy Park of which also had some great historical significance the reflected the cars history as well. The Murphy company was a Pasadena Coach Builder in the 20's and 30's specializing the Duesenberg, when Murphy built cars come to the show it's like returning home.
