Concours on Rodeo Drive

Here we go again, we start our morning off in the dark San Diego to Beverly Hills here we come. Rodeo Drive for 2017!!! Father's day is not only one of the Greatest Holidays for a Dad, but for us not only do we spend Father's day with our kids we can combine a CAR SHOW!!! Lol lol I don't think the wife's likes it but how cool is this. We have many many friends in the car industry and this is an old tradition with many of us, I have had the privilege of meeting many clients family's on this day and it's no exception for me, My little boy is 3 now and has attended this event 3 times!!! The support from the LA crowd including Bruce Meyer, Chequered Flag 200, local museums and enthusiasts is overwhelming!!! It is the collaboration of everyone involved that enables the team to gather some of the finest classics from all over the valley.

This year we brought up the 1967 Ferrari GTC and had it right on the blvd in front of the Coach store. Perry drove up our 26,000 original mile 1979 930 Turbo added about 350 miles and depreciated the car about 3% lol lol just kidding "Gotta Drive Them"... Unfortunately the return trip was not as exciting and the cars CDI box began producing an intermittent loss of power. He did however make it pass San Juan Capistrano and pulled over on the side of the road. I had seen what looked like an older Porsche from miles back, I thought and hoped it was not him as I got closer I just knew it was!! Call triple A and make it ok I say... $1500 dollars later everything was fine. The Los Angeles heat was a little tough to cope with but all in all it was a fantastic day and a fantastic event can't wait till next year.
